It’s a Wrap!

In the summer of 2017, Rochelle Moulton and I crossed paths on Twitter. We liked each other’s writing and decided to have a phone call to meet. That call went so well that we decided to start a podcast called The Business of Authority.

Our plan was to stake out a topical perimeter (i.e., "how to grow the income and impact of an expertise-based business") and dedicate ourselves to exploring the area within that boundary. Over the years, quite a few common themes revealed themselves:

Almost seven years—and 327 episodes—later, we feel like we’ve mapped out this territory to the best of our ability. Rather than start repeating ourselves, we decided it was time to call it quits.

We recorded a final episode to give you a little more context and to thank you for all the input, engagement, and support!

It’s a short episode, but here’s the TL;DR:

We will continue to keep hosting the episodes but we won’t be releasing any new ones.

The existing episodes are almost all fairly evergreen business topics, so we think/hope they’ll remain relevant for a long time to come.

Please feel free to continue to refer back to them and to forward them to other folks who you think might benefit.

As always, we love to hear from listeners, so if you find something in an old episode that helps you out, please let us know.

Thanks for listening!

Yours,

—J

P.S. If you’re hungry for new episodes from either of us, you can subscribe to my other show and Rochelle’s new show. And don’t be surprised if one of us pops up on the other’s show from time to time ;-)
