Close enough is close enough

Every measurement is approximate.

Every. single. one.

Your height.

The speed of light in a vacuum.

The client’s perceived value of an upcoming project.

None of these can be measured exactly.

And that’s fine!

They just need to be close enough to be useful in the context the measurement was taken.

Here’s the thing...

Don’t let a preoccupation with accuracy deter you from experimenting with value pricing.

You don’t have to guesstimate the client’s perceived value exactly.

You just have to be close enough.

Yours,

—J
